A Teleseminar Series and Virtual Discussion Group

My book, Wise Talk Wild Women, presents intimate conversations with powerful women of diverse ethnicity and background, such as poet Nikki Giovanni, futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard, activist Dolores Huerta, philosopher-teacher Jean Houston and philanthropists, doctors, artists and others. These amazing women shared many insights about the opportunities to gather the wisdom from your experiences, and continue to re-create your life at midlife and beyond.

I’m writing today to invite you to participate in a special event – a 4-week teleseminar series and discussion group that will explore some of the important questions presented in the book, leading you through your own journey of growth and self-discovery.

During this lively, informative, interactive series, you’ll explore a series of questions as they relate to your own life experience, for example:

• What do you know now that would have been valuable for you to know as a younger woman?

• What experiences ”ah hah moments “ have had significant influence on the way you live your life at this age?

• In your opinion what qualities make women sensuous and vibrant as they age?

Each week, you’ll receive a worksheet to guide you through a thoughtful inquiry into that week’s topic. I’ll present a short lecture about that week’s lesson … and then you’ll have the opportunity to share a rich dialog with a group of women in an exchange of experiences, feelings and ideas as your stories unfold.

What Is a Teleseminar?

A teleseminar is a class, lecture or discussion group that’s conducted over the phone – essentially, a conference call lead by a moderator or teacher and attended by participants across the country … or even around the world.

Teleseminars are the ultimate in convenience because you can participate from the comfort of your own home or wherever you might be. Say goodbye to the hassle of driving to a meeting location and finding a place to park. All you need is your phone (or a computer if you’d prefer to listen to the call over the Internet).

Pour yourself a glass of wine or brew a pot of your favorite tea … put your feet up … and be part of the conversation.

How the Teleseminars Work

After you sign up, you’ll receive dial-in instructions for the 4 calls. The calls will be accessible two ways – via telephone (you dial into a conference call bridge line so that you can speak and interact with other participants) and online (if you’d prefer to listen only).

What If I Can’t Make Every Call?

Every call will be recorded, so you won’t miss a thing. After each call, you’ll receive a link where you can download the recording to your computer (great if you’d like to listen to the recording on an iPod) or listen to the reply online.
